I don't think so... Possible... Notice any low end noise or knock ? I'd pull it and check everything... Be a good time to lighten the front end !!!

Yeah I think I'm gonna pull the motor and put a new one in. Then set the old one on the stand and rebuild it then put the rebuilt one in my bird

Cool. Let us know what you find inside. Go with the caddy lifters !!! I've had the comp 850's, the 875 pro mags, but the caddy's are taking my abuse ! I'm guessing the barbell, or a spun bearing, and the low oil pressure collapsed the lifters... Never know untill it's apart !!! I know, I've toasted a few myself... LOL

The weird thing is that the pressure progressively got lower over a month or so. Then it finally just lost it one day. I'm still puzzled about the whole thing

That's what happened to my buddy's 408 build. Silicone clogged the barbell. It wasted all the main & rod bearings from the oil starve. Not sure how it got pass the pick-up screen or oil filter...

First thing. Put a manual oil pressure gauge on it. If still nothing, then check the barbell plug in the rear, plug in the front, double check the new o ring on the pump and make sure its the right one. Make sure your sump is tight. If all that checks out then time to pull the pan and check bearings. Never trust dash gauges. Always manually verify first with pressure gauges. GL
