I cant stress enough how amazing this event was last year. SK Speed Had a booth at the start line and we took pictures and had a ton of fun!
Not many places on Long Island you can beat on your car like that without worrying about an arrest!

Tested the equipment last weekend in preparation of the event. Racers asked for a time slip printer and we are happy to say that we will be adding one to this years event!
Reaction time and the 60 foot times will be given to each racer. The track will be fully prepped to 220' the day of the event. Last years event had a lot of wheels up action.
All proceeds from the event go to the Cooley's Anemia Foundation.
I am the starter for the tree so come by the line and say hello. Also stop by the SK Speed tent.

Ted from www.dragracingimagery.com will be there also photographing the event. For those who don't know Ted he has photographed numerous events including the world famous New York National Speedway and Westhampton. Check out his website documenting drag racing on Long Island.
SK Speed will also be photographing the event.
Unofficialy two dragsters will be making a pass as well as a 2012 COPO Camaro.

Racing Fuel Availability Mike F. @ SK Speed,
Several racers have asked if the SK Speed tent the day of the event will have race fuel available for purchase.
Need to confirm what you will for sale so I can post to answer the questions.

With over 180 time slips on my kitchen table and confirming the car numbers with Cooleys registration forms the winner results are in!
Gift certificates are from S&K Speed and American Autosound.

Best 60 foot time Car #64 - 1.207 - Steven Jiminez - S&K Speed $100
Runner up reaction time Car #15 - .003 - Steven Macario - S&K Speed $50
Runner up 60 foot time Car #41 -1.224 - Jim Cummings - S&K Speed $50
2nd runner up reaction time Car#78 - .010 - Steven Buscher - American Autosound $75
2nd runner up 60 foot time Car#14 -1.344 - Joe Deguara - American Autosound $75
Since the 60 foot beam is the only beam used in the track setup it prints as the final ET.
The final ET is the 60 foot time based on our track setup.
