Seriously though, both are good guns. Pick the one you like better. If you can't pick, then buy the cheaper one.

RUGER hands down, Kimber does not impress me at all for the inflated price

Skip the kimber and go for the new Sigs, Sig sauer bought out kimber and they are producing some amazing hand guns for low cost. ($600-$900)

Im not a fan of the looks of a sig sauer 1911 so it looks like im sticking with old faithful ruger

Some subtle differences. I like ruger tho i will stay brand loyal. Also buying SR9c and most likely SR22 for plinking

Last one in the case. They almost talked me into the s&w pro series 3" stainless but for an extra $400 i stuck with the ruger. On my way to the range will let u kno how it shoots for me!

Good choice on the ruger. Love mine, and it will look great next to the sr9c.

Shot 65 rounds through it beautifully 1 fte but i examined the round and it looked mangled for now ill chock it up to the ammo. With the shortage going on im guessing quality has taken a hit as well

While your state sucks in many ways too, be glad you can at least take your new toy home right away. The "7 day" wait periods here are backlogged to about 60 days right now.
