Exclamation MD mold inspection help needed

All,

Does anyone work for/as, or know well, a licensed mold inspector that can do me a huge favor? I had inspections done on the short sale I am buying several weeks ago. We knew there was mold along one of the walls (drywall) in the garage. I had a friend of mine that works for a mold remediation place come over and check it out. He said it was fine and we can remove it ourselves since it's just surface mold. My mortgage officer told me she needs written proof of the report (which I didn't have). He typed up an email including his license number but my lender won't accept it. I'm not in a bad position because I need an inspection done ASAP since we're supposed to close on 8/21 and the loan can't be written until the report is in, but I don't have a lot of extra cash to be spending on an inspection right now that I thought I didn't need. Plus, the listing agent granted us access to the house to empty the dehumidifier and turn the ac on and whatnot to prevent the mold from spreading but we ended up just cleaning it one afternoon so there is really nothing for a visual inspection to even really see anymore...I'm afraid they'd look at it say they don't have enough proof of anything and charge me $200-$300+ for it...

If anybody can help out please let me know

Hey thanks! I am waiting on a call right now from my friends boss, he said he'll come out and do an official one for free, but he has to figure out when he can pencil me in hopefully it's today.

No we're not doing anything that invasive before we actually own the house.

Just make sure that before the drywall gets taken out it gets HEPA vacuumed before to remove any loose spores. If you don't HEPA Vacuum first the spores will just go airborne etc. Mold's defense is anytime its touched or sprayed is to send off its spores.
