Default TX2k13 (LONG overdue)

Finally got my TX2k13 street video and in the Saturday night runs you'll find me running a 600hp GTR and 700hp CTSV.

All the crazy video's you watch on youtube can't even compare to what it is actually like. The drive down and back was a PIA, but it was worth it.

Zturd went with and as always being... Zturd.... One day at the Omni we were walking back across the parking lot and two guys pulled up and said "is there some kind car show today?" Zturd says "yea, it's grandmothers appreciation day, we are going to all take them out for a ride later". Serious faced the guy replies "that's really nice, that is awesome you guys are doing this"

LMFAO!!!!

The cars, insane. The amount of 1000+hp cars in one place, and the rest were no less than 600hp. Everyone was super nice, we meet up with a few guys from CF and here on the tech. Zturd knew a couple of guys from the GTR forum so we were hanging out with them. After going to this, I've got to say I was just at SuperCars on State St in Harrisburg and was like, mehhhh..... stock lambo, no turbos, not interested....

The ONLY down side to the whole trip was hitting a snow storm on the way home. I don't mind driving the car in rain, etc... But freezing roads on summer tires is not fun. About as much fun as DR's in the rain. We had to creep the last leg of the trip because it was snowing like crazy in VA.

Any way, here are some pics and videos... ENJOY

So what about us slow folk? Are slower cars welcome to go to a TX2K event just to watch or hangout? I have always wanted to go but there is NO WAY my car will hang with anything there.

There is a video of a Supra spewing out the motor and smoking out 4 lanes on the high way. Crazy

Yea, not every single car is over the top. There were stockish bolt-on cars running around having fun.

Maybe i'll throw on a nitrous kit and spray a 150 pill. Still get freight trained by most cars there but a little less pitiful.

Houston is a big city, but everyone was staying on the north side right off 10. If you cruised the loop you would run into cars no matter what.

There were obviously some arranged gatherings.

Yep, at Lonestar Motorsports Park. Its right at the Hennessey shop, Saturday is test / tune / qual. Then Sunday is the main event.

That was alot of fun...
