What he said. I remember it being sunny all day Saturday until 2 days before when it changed to rain all day. You guys shouldn't be looking at the weather! It's always fun at the beach no matter what the weather is

 

I'll bring my fishing gear just in case. Got to get some OC fishing in while I'm down there.

10 days left for me! Leaving super early Thursday morning if anybody wants to get there *** up and cruise down. Get down there just in time for breakfast. Leaving the Camaro home this year and rockin the Chevelle.

Ill have to change to Oct OC. Got the car on the road but don't have head/cam/procharger on yet. Going to save my days at work and go in Oct

 

i just booked the Madison Beach motel on 9th street last week and they still had several rooms available. place has a nice balcony over looking the main road.

 

they say sold out. i will call. any other suggestions??

Anyone use walkie talkie's while at OCMD or know of a decent one?

 

sometimes i rather sit on the balcony and drink beer than sit in that traffic for a couple hours...lol...its brutal, especially if its a hot day.

 

Sometimes that gives you a good view street action and just to see some nice cars going down the street you may not see out driving necessarily. I like doing a bit of both sitting on Balcony & Driving.

 

Well I'm sure some of the Diesels have CB's on board. I've seen a couple people along the streets using walkie talkies.

 

oh man I remember my old 4th gen with the T Tops open sitting in Saturday traffic back 2008. In 1 day got my fill of being sunburnt and sweating my *** off. Cruisin down there with the T-Tops off was fun though.

 

yeah i tend to stay off the road on saturday afternoons till about 4-5pm when it starts thining out. traffic is awfull.

 

Usually the right lane is bad on either side, but the left lanes move alright...there was usually and LS meet during the day saturdays so I let my car sit there until everything died down.

 

The worst on Saturday Is Baltimore Ave in general or at least used to be.

One thing that drives me nuts about Cruisin week is that at 8 - PM they close off the turn lane @ 123rd st. Never really understood that. Other than maybe too many people were using it to set up a burnout in front of Hooters.

 

Set up? It's called stop in the middle of the road and let errrr rip. Anyone who's american will enjoy that.
