I picked up a long block last week, so a quick swap shouldn't be an issue. I should have the Chevelle down.

 

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone would be down to get a big group of cars to cruise to OC together on May 15th (Thursday)... Could meet in Clarksville or near the bay bridge??

 

As it stands now I'll be up that Wensday in the Vette with my local crew. Planing on staying through till sunday.

 

Ill be there which a bunch of people Thursday to Sunday. Hoping the weather doesnt suck. Drove on coastal for a total of 10 minutes in the fall.

 

Rental car is a Nissan Altima. But OC hopefully bring the Vette and the Camaro down to OC. The Camaro has got a cam now and makes close to 500rwhp. I will post up some new pics later today.

 

If I can get the supercharger installed and not blow up something I'm going to try and make it down

 

I plan on doing engine-blowing burnouts in a 5.0 GT rental car from Hertz

 

that'll be a long ride from California...lol

 

I fly back and forth frequently for the businesses i have haha

That would be pretty awesome. We had 15 in a group one year. Problem was that within the first 20 minutes of our 4.5 hour trip, we'dhad the cops called on us 10 times. Resulting in an unofficial police escort by 19 different cops along the way. Every road we turned onto had a cop waiting for us.

 

Man people are *********. Who would ruin someone's day by calling the cops on them like that.

 

Now that I'm a little older, I kinda understand why. 50 mph-150 mph races on the interstate at 9 AM with other traffic mixed in isn't exactly the safest way to get somewhere. But, it sure was fun!!!

 

The ride downs always a blast. I think every year we've come across some unsuspecting honda that decided to be a superhero. Anyone heard anything on the Maryland Speed meet? Hooters again or bigger venue this year?

 

A rainy day at the beach is better than a sunny day at work!

Saturday at 2 PM in Rose's lot on 94th st. Huge empty lot. We had about 50 cars in the rain at the fall show.

 

I was there for the fall rose meet (white c5 with frostbit tag), it was a good time for sure, see ya there!. Anyone staying at Eden Roc of 20th? I canceled my initial reservations and ended up moving them to there last night. Got 3 rooms... not the nicest hotel (stayed there in the fall) but great parking situation and the lady on the phone said they go out of there way to cater to the cruisers. Cant wait to get up there and have another crazy year. Such a great way to start the season

 

Maybe we will have some good weather for the meet this year. We won't have to keep ducking into the cars every 10 minutes.
