Default Imports Vs Domestics

So who made it out? I was there from a little after 10 until 5. Racing seemed slow to get going. And I was annoyed at the break in racing for the bikini contest considering how far behind they were in races.

Good day overall

They didn't stop racing for the contest, they were scraping the starting line area because of a bad oil down.

Got there around 10 and left at 3, got tired of the oil downs.

Other than the oil downs it was a cool event. well the disrespectful people that kept talking during the national anthem pissed me off but I guess that is to be expected.

I attended ... and yes way crowded and disrespectful people... the car show was a joke, the racing was pretty decent just too many breakdowns which isnt the tracks fault.

I saw a number of domestics breaking too. Just in less spectacular ways with less delays for cleanup.

Didnt make it to the car show. Kinda mad they said they had no more room at 10a. I normally enter the V. Mostly for the closer parking.

I miss nopi. Rice fest or not, at least it was warm.

In the rules it clearly stated everyone needed a belly pan. did they actually check? I doubt it like hell.

i would think road racing tech is a little stricter because of ho much more easily you could end up spreading pieces across the track.

We were there sunday as well, by far this was the biggest cluster **** ive seen it be so far. We got there shortly after 830 and it took us almost an hour to get from the entrance to the gate. Had one track official tell us the car show was full and another tell us to go ahead. We ended up getting into the show regardless which i will agree was a complete joke aside from the convenience of not parking the C5 in a field. The racing we did see was good but I would have liked to have seen alot more of it. The dis-respectfulness and utter lack of decency from people disgusted me though. The amount of trash on the ground in front of the food vendors was disgusting. At one point I came to drop some stuff off at the car and grab a drink out of the cooler and caught some woman and her two kids leaning on my car. This event has really gone to hell in a hand basket. I think next year I may just try to make it down for one of the NMRA NMCA events or one of the big X275 shows... those are the cars I wanted to see run anyway.
