Default Whats an ls1 worth

Have an 01 SS. Going to be going 5.3 or 6.0 for my turbo build.

What's the 5.7 ls1 with 89k miles on it worth?

Stock motor. I would be keeping the ls6 intake and oil pan. Would come with 241 heads and rotating assembly. No mods done to the motor. I bought the car 1000 miles ago and was middle age woman driven. Still in the car running and driving. Just looking to maybe see what I could get if I pull it and use the loot to find the motor for the build.

Why swap motors? Ls1 is just as strong and lighter.

I've just been reading more and more about strength and Longevity of stock block vs stock block. Correct me if I'm wrong. If in wrong maybe I just keep this one and get to the build

They are all about the same if you go to far past 500whp it's a matter of time. It's all in the tune as to how long it lasts. The reason people don't buy the ls1 is they are more expensive to start with and not as readily available. Also it's all aluminum which is better

I agree with the $1500 complete but keeping the intake/oil pan those remove some value , maybe a grand provided buyer gets to hear it then pull it IMO

my understanding and please correct me if I am wrong ( going from paying attention to posts on this not personal experience) is that upgraded rod bolts are a great idea - what is not a great idea is upgrading the rod bolts without resizing the rods at the same time .... if your not going to take it apart so the rods can be resized leave it alone , if its coming apart upgrade rod bolts.
