Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the meet this time. Work messed me up in the spring and I got into town too late. Always a fun weekend.

I'll try to make it. Though, hopefully we do and other in the LS community act with some respect since spring apparently was a bad one for littering and such. I do not understand why people must be such idiots with events like this. Case in point.....last night was a big cruise in Delaware (Kirkwood highway cruise) which seemed to be getting bigger from the previous years. Well you had guys roasting tires leaving Hooters, which is cool for me as long as you know your surroundings. Most did it going INTO traffic or swerving, almost loosing control. One guy actually spun 180 degrees and into the oncoming traffic. Luckily no traffic was over there before he hurried up and hauled *** outta dodge.
My point is, you can still have fun and do fun things IF and only IF you understand the surroundings around you and not be stupid while jeopardizing others cars/lives.
I still would love to see a burnout pit of sorts you pay for and it is ran by patrolmen to keep it from getting out of control. You make your money with 10 or 15 dollars a burnout for 1 minute than go on your merry way. You do them anywhere else, you get a instant ticket and its a OH WELL you were dumb to do it. That will never happen. Not sure why a burnout is so cool IMO but there is a time and place for them....I guess, I think lol.

Back in the late 90's they had steel plates on the horse track at Ocean Downs. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to do burnouts on steel plates. Cars were lined up for hours to melt some rubber. They should do that again.
