Default Help! Camaro running issues
I have a 99 Camaro ss that I just did 863 heads port polished and shaved .030, stage 2 cam, double beveled springs, victor Jr intake with elbow, ls7 lifters and shortened pushrods. Long tube headers. My issue is that I had it running for 5min, the rpm picks up to 2500 and then shuts off. Car just cranks and cranks like it wants to start but won't.. And ideas????

is it getting fuel? hear the fuel pump prime with turn of key to accessory on?

also any DTC codes pop up?

Yes fuel pump does prime. Is getting fuel. I haven't hooked to computer up to it yet.

I found the problem.. Was a lot bigger than I thought. Car dropped a valve and destroyed the piston and cylinder side wall
