Wife replaced the G8 when Gm offered that 20% off on the SSs. FYI amazing car.

Yeah I saw that sale go on for awhile but hard to justify all that money for freshened up bumpers and interior. If she got a manual then its worth it since they were selling new manual SS for only slightly more then used M6 GXP's are selling for.

She went auto. and she wanted the gray which is only a 17 color. But it was actually the same price or cheaper than a 15 with 10k miles on it when I was searching. Couldnt pass up on it.

The interior is what does it. The stock staggered wheels. All the tech upgrades. The brembos. She had a GT, so it was a MAJOR upgrade on pretty much all areas. First two things, tint and badges. SSV and LS3 aussie badges are next.

As long as you're not doing burnouts nobody will care. There's guys down there every year driving full on race cars and as long as they're tagged legally and they behave, the police don't bother them.

October was a little more ticket happy than usual. "driving in a manner to cause excessive noise" tickets, and yes some for non DOT tires. But i dont get how they can with all of the full on race cars driving around down there.

Just all depends on what youre doing and the individual officers.

My tires are so dry rotted I should get a ticket. 7 year old Nitto Invo's with 1500 miles on them. I will make certain to leave some down there.

Well I guess I'll have to be careful since I got the long tubes on today and the car is now loud as **** when I open it up a little

No but I also made mine louder. It was a tack on ticket if you did a burnout or pull etc from what I heard from people. Just anything to increase the amount.

All I can say is take anything to court.
