I'd do that sooner than later, and when you do please report back.
When I stopped in to talk to Chuck at CoW a few years ago he started telling me about how he could do a tune that increased throttle opening vs pedal movement. Basically making the blade open much quicker making the vehicle FEEL like an absolute monster when just cruising around and using part throttle but not technically making it any faster. Why in the F would anybody do that and pay money for it? He just seemed very hacky.

I have it and am planning on getting rid of it as well. I'll take the linear power delivery and manage my own throttle with the 'ol right foot lol.
