i heard it as soon as i got in my car this morning. im still in shock. he, imo, is the best guitarist in metal over the last 15 years, and definitly one of the most influential. i know if it were'nt for him i never would have picked up a guitar, and id never be playing in a band now. i probably wouldnt even listen to metal now, if i didnt give that pantera cd a listen, probably about 10 years ago. they're sayin the guy did it cuz hes mad pantera broke up. theyve been my favorite band for a long time, and yea im pissed about them breaking up too, but now there aint no chance of them ever getting back together, you fukin dumass. dimebag was truly a class guy, i met him and his brother twice, and they're just like regular people, did not have a rockstar attitude at all. all he ever wanted to do was smoke pails of weed , drunk buckets of crown royal , and play heavy ****** metal . and now he cant . todays is a sad day in metal. rip dimebag

What kind of music does your band do. I used to have a Slayer/heavy metal coverband. I played bass. Stop playing around 7 years ago. We were gonna cover Cowboys from hell, i know we started learning it. If your doing gigs in the area let me know, i'd come check it out.

The whole incident concerning the death over Darrell Abbott was just senseless. It is a sad comment on how screwed up our society is today.
