That's pretty much based on the person's qualifications. Most start around $15. an hour without tools. That would goto the $18.-$20. with tools and qualifications. Sick and vacation time would be available after a trail period. I can be flexiable but also need to get things done

What qualifications would be needed? I'm should be able to get a few ASE certs in about 3 months. How much work is there? If its slow do you send techs home or have them do other things like fix light bulbs or something

Experience working on the LT1 and LS1 family of engines would be very helpful. We're usually very busy so there is always something to do. That can range from working on vehicles, doing tech calls and maybe helping unload a shipment once in awhile. Fixing lightbulbs is always an option plus I have many vehicles that need to be detailed

How come I didn't see this earlier..
I want in!
I will work for 12 bucks an hour. I have enough tools for a backyard mechanic. swivels, impact guns, impact sockets, breaker bars, regular socket set, pry bars...and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't think of.
It gets me by anyways..
I would love to learn and get into this field. I could start off as the :cough: shop bitch :cough: if you really want
Im dead serious. I would absolutely love to get into this field, especially with a high performance shop.
and if you really dont need me I dont have to be full time. I'll work whenever. weekends, weekdays, 1 day a week even. I just want to get in.

Guys... there is no office position available I recently filled one and might have another opening at some point but nothing right now. Wrench turners are what I'm looking for. Need another person with LT1 and LS1 experience who can also take care of tech calls.
I'm going to have to tell Carol that everyone wants her job
