Nitrous eventually leads to melt down, who really uses the 75 hp jets on a 200 shot kit any way. Not knocking the nitro guys, it is real power, but I like the fact that that my blower's power is always on tap, and I don't have refill my blower either. As for a powerdyne being junk, I really beg to differ being a powerdyne owner. I have heard many powerdyne horror stories, and many of them are directly related to overzealous boost gains. Powerdyne is great concerning dependability up to 6psi. It can handle up to eight with out major mods, the belt driven compressor is a weak point, high quality rebuild kits are out there to solve the issue of high boost/belt drive. KA Tech has a tensioner to solve belt squeal. At 4.5-6 psi I think the self contained oiling is not an issue. Hasnt been w/ me. My biggest complaint is the fuel ugrades, the FMU and Tandem pump are crap, I have seen the injectors go well over 100% duty cycle their provided fuel upgrades, The easy solution is injectors+tuning. My 4.5 psi kit makes over 100 HP max boost, w/ svo #42 injectors and tuning. It runs reliably too. As for falling short of advertised boost, it happens, not just with this kit, air induction mods as well as getting the upper radiator hose the hell away from the head unit will not only alleviate the issue but it actually added boost in my case. Sorry for the book, now for a selfish plug:

I have seen several of those kits going anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500. Not worth the agrivation if it does not work.
