It is a steel flywheel, so the RPM's should come up the same.
As Don explained to me the difference is it won't shatter into a thousand pieces when you do a clutch dump like a stock flywheel can.
Mine's going in next week.

Butch I do realize that billet is stronger than cast, I was a tool and die maker for, well maybe longer that some on this board have been alive.

However, the billet is 9lbs lighter or so and was just wondering if the reduced rotating mass was noticeable i.e. quicker revs. Butch you getting anything else done to your car this year? We got to meet up this year at NED were about the same power level.

You getting yours done at Don's also? I don't really wana put mine in I hate working off the floor. I bet that **** sits in the box for 8 months or more like my spark plugs

Hey Dave, glad you liked the clutch! Are you telling me that you didn't belive me when I told mike "I was under a car all day." I only came out when it was time for lunch! All I have to say is that was the easiest y-pip I ever put on to a set of headers! But we couldn't have done it without Andy's strength and skill!

Ok I admit it! It's a jealousy thing!

I've always wanted to say Mike's "I'll beat you up. Cause I CAN!" line to somebody.

I did not know it was 9 lbs lighter.
I am getting a few other small things done.
I'm sure all of us at one time or another will meet up at NED. Far as racing me, your power level won't matter.
I have practically no seat time behind my car so I suck at launching.
I also don't know my optimum shift points so anyone can beat me &:
Yes, Don is doing my work.

Just don't get in a car with him. I thought I was going to die going to get lunch.

I'm not used to the passenger seat.

Butch tunnle brace is that black piece of sheet metal looking thing that the DS loop replaces.
