i hate this ****** car. im going out and tank it up

paging slowhawk, need sum help ok. installed my transmition and rear end . filled them with both with fluid. put the shifter on. went to tighten the crank pulley with the car in 4th gear(tried first gear also), the crank is still spinning. i put the car in gear and the rear tires lock. i put the car in nuetral the tires spin. WTF im lost. WTF!!!! what did i do wrong. plus that ati super damper i put on, is fucked up too. the back part of it doesnt spin but the front does. i thought it was all bolted together as one piece. its not my day.any help would be great

You lost me.In nuetral the tires can still spin but put on the e-brake and they will stop while the motor still spins.Your pulley?Sounds like it isn't put together right.

ok. i pulled out the torque tube and its not broke. i didnt remove the clutch but it looks good. the pilot bearing looks good too. i checked for stripped splines on everything. nothing. it all looks new. the only thing left is to pull the clutch and get a closer look at it, but i dont think thats it. me lost

Holding the crank pulley is not his problem...besides that is for an auto. The fact that his car is in gear and the crank still spins is the dilemma.
PDD, Doesn't sound like its the tranny/tube/rear since the tires lock in gear and spin in neutral. All I can think of is that the clutch is not engaging. I know that dosen't make sense because I assume you are changing gears but I can sometimes change gears 1-4 without the clutch with the car off. Can you get into reverse when you throw in the clutch?
