The O-ring is in a million pieces. Metal parts and shavings are in the oil pan and oil pump. The extra 75 shot of nitrous did in my motor. I am waiting on financing to get a new motor that can handle nitrous. I am hoping to be up and running again by 4/2/05.

I have faith that you will be going even faster! I need to get some money together so I can go faster too. My car has parts waiting for install, but since my trans isnt doing well, there is no sense in putting them in until I can afford to fix the trans....

Well the hubby came through with the funding, providing I give up the nitrous. It is a sacrifice I am willing to make as long as I can race.

As an ex-bottle junkie, you know how powerful that stuff can be. When I race without it, it's like the car is going in slow motion. I am taking the hubby with me to TTP when I pick up the motor. That way they can explain to him slowly and using small words that the motor was built for nitrous. Maybe that will change his mind.
