Default Picking up the car tonite!

Car's done @ Eastside! Going tonite to pick it up. I'll post up the final dyno #'s when I get home and have the graph in front of me... if I can get a electronic copy, and figure out how to post it on here, I will. I know that it topped 400 hp thru the new 12 bolt w/ 4.10's and steel driveshaft, so it probably would have been well over 410 had the stock 10 bolt still been in the car. I'll take it home tonite and change the oil tomorrow morning, and start cleaning all the road salt off from the trip there and back as soon as I get a warm day.

Suspension is all set for the first trip to the track, can't wait to go and see what she runs.

Thanks to Scotty @ Eastside for working thru my parts list, and thanks to Ken for taking care of the install and tuning, and the suspension setup.

Can't wait to pick it up and see how it pulls, should be a fun summer! Now, to just get some weather, and find the time to enjoy it!

Picked up the car tonite, and all I can say is wow. What a huge difference in power it has, between the 4.10's and the added hp, the car really pulls hard. The rod ended control arms make a little noise, but nothing too bad, actually not as bad as I thought it would be. The spohn 25mm rear swaybar is way stiffer than the factory one, car definately stays more level, should launch great with the front bar off.

The final dyno results were

402.8 HP, 387.5 TQ. The Hp curve is real wide and flat, it hovers right around 400 from 5800 to about 6450, and the tq is real strong too, peaks off at about 4900 and stays over 350 to about 6 grand. A/F is at a level safe 12.7

Thanks again to the whole Eastside crew!

Nice man, hopefully this winter won't last much longer. I ordered my cam and all the rest of the goodies. Probably head over to Eastside to get it tuned after I install it.

What track do you usually run at? This summer should be pretty good. I'll be at Epping as much as I can. Hopefully make a few trips down to Englishtown as well.

I usually try to go to LVD. Memorial day weekend Hemmings muscle machines magazine hosts a day, go to hemmings.com and there's a link to it. It's a goof fun day, and for 35 bucks, you get 4 pratice runs ( if you get there when they open ) and then it's brackets for the day on Saturday. Sunday is a street stock class, not sure what teh rules are exactly, other than there's no slicks allowed. way I look at it... it's a day with no motorcycles, snowmobiles, and no hondas to waste time with... just good old american HP. Hopefully this year there will be more of an LS1 presense, ther was I think there was 3 cars total last year, me, a z06 vette ( took me out 3rd round ) and a guy with a bolt on red t/a that was running 12.90's He made it to the semi finals too.

Scott- the exhaust IS loud now... I don't have any problems with it, but Johnny law.. he might. If that turns into the case... I figure something out. I still got the factory catback, should it become an inspection issue.

Thanks Shawn, have to get that photo when we eventually all get to the track now. See if I can't pull the tires off the ground, get a good pic for the sig!

Yeah, the car needs a diet, as so do I. The next wave of things to do are lightweight parts, k member, upper and lower a arms, adn probably a lightweight battery setup. Maybe some lightweight carpet too, that stuff should get about 110 or so LBS out of the car.

Car definately rips for sure, tons of fun to drive. Hell, I drove it aorund a bunch today!
