i have a convertible, are there any roll cage requirements. I may break 12's if i can get my nitrous running but most likely not. And are there any other requirments that go along with the nitrous, other than the blowdown tube?

i believe lvd follows NHRA rules so convertable would need a cage other than that there pretty cool during a rental

Yah LVD is an NHRA track, but even on T&T days about the most I ever get is "You have a helmet? Whats the Snell?" I think once they asked me what the car ran, and when I said 12s they didn't ask about a loop. Buddy with an '03 Cobra went mid-high 11's many times last year without a cage and they didn't boot him.

And they're usually even more lax at the rentals from my experience.

Then again, the track is under new ownership this year, so they may toughen up a bit. It remains to be seen.

i just talked to a guy in town who is pretty reputable in my area and he seems to think as long as I dont break into the 11's im fine.

I would call LVD about it. I don't think Joly knows a lot about newer cars & street car racing.
