Question Which one?

I live in CT., and would like to try one of the NJ Tracks in April (on a Friday evening). Island Dragway in Great Meadows, or Raceway Park in Englishtown? Either way its a haul, so if any of you guys have been to each, can you recommend one to me and why? I'd like to get in at least 5 runs since it'll probably take me 3 hours to get there.

Thanks, Jim

for us the tracks to go to with the least amount of hassle is LVD or Island they seem to be the easy rides with the least amount of traffic

Your best bet is island dragway on a friday night. If you get there when the gates open at 5 or 6 I can bet you will get 15-20 passes in for under 30 bucks. Friday nights there are like a marry-go-round. You will have to stop to let your car cool off. You might get too many passes in and break something, becarful. Every friday that I have gone there I have got a min. of 14 passes. The track is about a tenth or two slower than E-town. But , E-town you will be lucky if you get in 5 passes.E-town gets so packed that most of the time everyone only gets 3 passes in.Oh yea, leave a little early cause rush hour traffic kinda sucks on the way to island. You will hit traffic no matter which one you go to. Island all the way

definitely go to island dragway on friday. Last time i went i got 13 runs in less than an hour and that was with taking breaks to let the car cool down. There were a few times where i took 3 consecutive runs and the only time i came to a stop was at the starting line

I might not be able to make april 9th, my brother is flyinf in from FL. and we might go hit the new coster at great adventure. They have the new record for the tallest and fastest coster in the world. But, if we dont go to six flags I'll be at E-town
