Before the track day put some miles on those dr's or they will be slippery and you won't be happy

Jon, thanks, that's good to know about the Nitto's. I've been putting off getting them on the car. I'll have to do it tomorrow after work.

He's probably taking a little while longer to adjust to them. But I think he'll come around soon.

I bet it's because the tires brake loose too easy with all that power.

I'm afraid I will have to shift into 5th in the1/4. I still have the stock cam & springs. No high rev limiter here. Car also does not seem faster like I thought it would w/4.10's.

Mike You're rev limiter is higher than mine. I'll feel better after LVD. or if I get time to try them on the street.

I think that you'll probably be o.k., I was used to being able to go 50 in first gear before having to shift... and it did take a while to get used to, but I do liek them now alot better.

I don't know what else you have done to your car from the last time you ran it, but unless you plan on trapping in the 120's, I wouldn't worry about it. The motor's only there for a couple seconds anyway, and if it bothers you, you can always push in the clutch after you go thru the traps so drop the rpm back quicker.

12.8 @ 110, was that on street tires ( non DR )? If so, that's not bad for what you have listed for mods.

You wont need to shift 5th, don't worry about that.

I had the same exact feeling with my 12 bolt and gears but after a track visit you'll see. I just spent 10 minutes trying to explain how it feels but I can't, you'll see at LVD.

Like others said, people drop a couple of tenths in stock cars with just gears. They must be doing something right
