Default Got back from Atco....NEW BEST!!!! 12.27 @ 115

weather was great!!! and my dad came out to watch for the first time...so i was siked!!

Keep in mind I have STOCK clutch 67k miles on it, Stock 10 bolt 3.42s w/ same milage

I have just LT,True duals,LS6 intake,DRs,Skinnies for the first time Thanks to Marc(LS1LT1),removed front sway bar and pass seat, and I made my own ghettoed BG Ram Air w/ clear tape kinda like duct tape to seal the air box. no cam or anything like that

1st run: 12.828 @ 115.93 60' 2.031 spinning thought the MPH was a fluke, but backed it up w/ 2 more 115 mph traps

2nd: 12.703 @ 113.41 60' 2.013 spinning

3rd: 12.504 @ 114.15 60' 1.957

4th:----------------

5th: 12.390 @ 115.32 60' 1.949

NEW BEST!!!

R/T: .282

60': 1.884 launched at 4k slipping the clutch out

330: 5.232

1/8: 7.977

MPH: 90.28

990: 10.274

1/4: 12.274

MPH: 115.35

my previous best was a 12.56 @ 112.75 w/ a 1.886 60'

the ONLY changes that were made was the skinnies, sway bar removed and my ghetto BG Ram Air Mod

I plan on heading back to atco on thursday to hopefully pull off a 12.0, we'll see how the weather is

lemme know if anyone has any questions

thanks

Brandon

Congrats on your new best. 11's are close. You get that 60ft down a little and you're there

with that mph you should be able to do it. Get your 60ft.'s down to 1.6 and you might get into the 11's with the mph that your showing. Do the shortbelt mod and bypass your ps and pull your air filter when you get to the track.

Before I did H&C my car went 12.2 @109 at island dragway. A trip to atco might have given me a 12.0-11.9

yeah , you ill be running the cr.,wp,and alt. Not sure what belt you need. I have a ASP crank and alt pully so the belt I use will be diff. If you get the ASP pully's and do the ps bypass I think you will be in the 11's. I think your making enough power now to get in the 11's. If you still have the 3.42 gears you must be using 1st-3rd. When I had my stock gears I would just make sure I got every rpm I could out of every gear and would only use first threw 3rd. Good luck man.

Not sure what size it is but I do have a short belt (for the stock pulley, not for an underdrive pulley) I can lend ya dude. You still have stock pulley right?
Would love to see both my skinnies and my (well Alex's actually LOL) old short belt beat my old 12.23 on your car, just as long as you don't beat my new times! LOL
I might be going Friday, maybe.

Aight, lemme know if you want me to bring my short belt (that is if I go tomorrow night of course)...you'll need a wrench to move the tensioner, not sure what size it is though, 13mm or 15mm maybe?
And getting it on there isn't the easiest either if ya haven't done it before, I had Alex or Durien help me do it on the few times I've tried it LOL.

hhmmmmm...... I guess when you get your 60ft's down maybe that will make the diff. I would rev my engine as high as possible in every gear and make it threw. But my 60ft's were in the 1.64 range. A 27 or 28" tire would do the trick. I guess try raising your shift points for now.Do you have anything that you can change your rev-limiter with?

Just heard a rumor that this 12.27 might no longer be Brandon's best ET, hope it's true.
