After many years of proud/happy LS1 F-body ownership I am so pleased to report that I have reached and crossed that elusive drag racing milestone into, the ELEVENS.
(Though just barely LOL.)
11.99@113.16 to be exact, Friday night at Atco. I love this car.
With help from my QTP (www.quicktimeperformance.com, thanks Barry) long tube headers and Y pipe, a rebuilt trans by Tommy at Anger Management Racing and it's clean install along with a new Vigilante 3600 stall torque converter and tune (thanks Julio
) by the awesome crew over at Cartek (www.cartek.net) in Garwood, NJ I was able to pilot my bone stock internal, stock reared and completely naturally aspirated LS1 powered Z28 to a sweet new best.

Nah, I think others have still gone as far or even further with a little less work done but back when I was stuck at 12.2s I feel I had accomplished some pretty cool stuff with how little was done to the car.

Nah, I really like the stock internal thing, gears (what I think is really holding me back bigtime) are always a possibility and a Cartek cam is certainly tempting but this 'less is more' thing is just so much fun right now.

Hey LS1LT1 I was there friday night, your had some nice runs. Those are some awesome times for your mods. I got my best friday night too 12.82@109. I had the pewter trans am.
