this kids car i worked on, 98 WS6, it came from canada, went 14.?? we thought it was him.
I put a set of headers on it last week, mac mids with off road pipe. same as my car got in 99. now in 99, my car gained 22 rwhp with this setup no tune.
he went to East Side yesterday, base line no tune, the car only made 273 with headers on, say he gained 10 from just the headers, meens the car was a dud with 260 rwhp
after tuning it a few times, the car made 322 and was running mint!!!!!
while i did the headers we pulled egr/air i pulled the tube from the intake ect ect, so it looks good under there also.
not sure how 40+rwh was got, i was thinking the car is canadian, maybe it was detuned for imision reasons or somthing
Either way he was very happy.

I've actually seen some cars come with factory tunes at 19* timing... Don't know why, but some are factory duds that way. A tune by a good tuner makes a HUGE difference on those things.

That's awesome he's back to specs though!

Probly had serious KR since the 98's often do. Last week we had a 98 push 240rwhp before tuning due to some weird 17-1A/F and 8 degree's of KR.After he pushed 318hp.Probly the best $450 he ever spent

i new the car was weak, but he is very happy. i didnt know the 98's where that bad!! lol
