little suspention, 100 pounds ripped out, 12psi in the tires, treated track, and a little more seat time, i wouldnt doubt for a second that car will go 11's!!!

Thanks man. I'm sure that more seat time will help too, I wanted to air the tires down more to see if it would help.. but I'll leave that for another day. Getting some weight out of the car is definately needed, it's heavy.. not that I help it any being 275 either. With any luck, I'll see a 11.99 by the end of the summer. Back to work on her!
Yeah... I should have listened on teh tire pressure... but I tried that once on the street last year... car was so all over the place I didn't wanna take any unnessassary risks. I'll drop the pressure next time I go, change the suspension around, and see what happens, try leaving around 4500, and go from there. The car ran a 1.79 60 foot the run before, so I know there's more in it. Had to leave some room for imporvment.... need a reason to go back and run the car again 
I think I'm gonna go with the 27 x 11.5 qtp hoosier tire next on the rear, and grab a set of moroso DS2 for the front, they weigh about 8 lbs per tire less then the sportsman m/t tires do, so there goes 16 lbs. I'm looking to get about 100 out of it before the end of the summer. If I can, and get the suspension tweaked in a little better, might be able to get it into the 11's... with the a/c, power steering, factory heads still on the car untouched.... that will be impressive.

Bigger tire does less of the movement huh... then in that case, I'll go strait to 12 psi when the QTP's go on... those tires will probably never see more air pressure then that with teh exception of the bead seating.....
Unless I'm out driving around on them... probably be smart to air them up a little then.
