Mod #4.... Just bought cam...I was going to go 02 LS6 cam but a deal came threw on a used Comp grind SPECS: 214-222 .559-.566 115LSA 111ICL.....Timing events should work very well with manifolds and peak right about 6000 with good tq across the board...
Now all I need is a Spring kit,Pushrods,PTB and Pulley which I'll get in about 2 or 3 weeks.I'm waiting on CNC'd manifolds by Hinson Supercars but if that falls threw (No CNC program for GTO's yet)then I'll hand port them myself...
Hopefully I'll have everything done in about a 5 or 6 weeks
Engine mods are done...I'm very happy with the careful mods I've picked for my project and most importantly it wont hinder everyday drivability.
Sup. tweeks,18's,slotted rotors and pads will come next yr.
I'm broke for a while

that cam will probably idle like a stock car too... good choice.
Now toss the jug on it, and a set of the MT radials and see it run 11.50... and drive it home.
Just make sure that driveline is strait, I read the GMHTP article on the goat that BMR did, and the parts that they went thru in the driveline.. I's make sure before you make too much power that those items are taken care of, for a piece if mind if nothing else.

i will be going the same route pretty much
3200 vig
small 220ish cam
already got newera cai (Which is a heatsoak bitch, but we are fixing it)
bought the magnaflow x pipe and catback also
already got 18's with toyo proxy 1's
the TB is ported and also the car is tuned by don
I may do a pully and other small crap too
oh and I did the stereo mod
