She's Alive!!!

Sounds friggin sweeeeeeeet. I'm so excited can't wait to get her on the road!
Big thanks to PurEvl for the LS6

Thanks to everyone who put up with my questions over the last few days - (Mike, Keith and especially Don). Also big thanks to Kevin, George, Scott, Ginter, and the new guy for helping with tools, parts runs and getting dirty.
I'll post up when she hits the streets

God I am stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to get my Camaro battery juiced up again then I'm gonna wash the car, it'll be the first time in about 2 months. Marcel has my good detailing stuff so all I can do is wash n wax the car, oh well.

Your gonna wash and wax my car... Awesome man!

Took it for the first test flight today. Maybe I am paranoid, but I'm hearing every little noise. Maybe Don or someone can tell me what acceptable valvetrain noise sounds like??? or if I was supposed to shim the windage tray? God am I paranoid... and I didn't even smoke the funny stuff. If all goes well, she'll be at Don's this Saturday
I'm gonna hook her up to a scan tool tomorrow at school and make sure she's good electrically.

oh an mike if you try to adjust them while its running please video it for me because it will be comedy gold

Well I took her out for a beating today to make sure all was well and the valvetrain got louder again. I don't think she'll make the trip home
Those pushrods must be too short or something. I'm just going to order the tool and measure for the right size. Unless you guys can fix it on site when I get her home...

Get some GOOD oil (Amsoil 2000 0W-30) or Redline 10W-30 and it should diminish the sound.. this was done right on TTP's dyno once- noise disappeared after the Amsoil went in.

He's still in the stone age
