Here are a few pics after I painted the floor in mine last year -

The parking/work area of the garage is 38x26' and the whole thing is about 60' deep. There are two rooms in the back. They were just repainted when my house was being done. This is from when I was starting to bring things back there -

The garage is pretty much my home and the house itself is just something extra The front has a 30" LCD TV and speakers built into the walls. Hot and cold water inside and out to make it easier to wash cars in the winter. 2 lifts (7000 and 9000lbs) for working on things when I have time and they also come in handy for storage. The paint is going to be stripped off the floor in 2 weeks. That will be replaced with epoxy for low maintaince. I had enough painting it every 1-2 years. One of the rear rooms has a 50" TV with surround sound, fridge and microwave. The other is a computer room with a couple that opens into a bed. Direct TV and cable is wired into each area. The only thing I'm missing to be able to live in there is a toilet.

Then don't use what I did Actually the stuff that I used isn't to bad but it takes a beating when chemicals get on it. And then water makes it lift up when I wash cars in there. This was with concrete paint from Home Depot (I think it's by Baer). The stuff that I'm going to have put done is a high glass Rustoleum garage floor epoxy. It should look really nice when complete. You can get info for this at Home Depot. Mine is going to cost $4300. Of course the color that I liked ending up being about a dollar more per square foot.

I like the checker board design that Dan has in his garage!

cool thing about the tile.. is if it lifts or gets shitty.. peel it up, a little glue and drop on a new one.. and about $1 square foot total.. I did that myself .. one full day.
