Great car ,Sean!
I had some free time Sat. morning to drive down and check out Sean's (SPRSPT) new CTS-V. The car looks great in silver and the interior is first rate. We went for a little test drive and it was very impressive. Even with three people in the car, the acceleration was phenomenal and the handling precise. This is definitely a first rate no-compromise high performance luxury sedan!
Ken

I'm gonna have to look at the same... the wife's malibu is gonna get traded in in the spring for something that gets a good 35+ on the highway for me to go back and forth to work in, as I have a 26 mile 1 way commute now, and as soon as that is paid off I'll be trading in the truck and hopefulyl be gettign a 4 door cab dakota, hopefulyl with a hemi... so I can still tow the car around, either that or a durango, or an envoy/trailblazer, something that can tow at least 6000 lbs, and have a back seat for a rugrat.
On another note.. ya ever get to do that pic?

JL: i dunno if you knew this or not, but in '06 they are going to have a Trailblazer SS with an LS2! if i wasnt still making payments on my Firehawk, i'd be buying one of those

ls2 in a trailblazer.. is this a heavy duty thing, or a performance thing? I'm gonna want towing capacity.... got the car for teh performance end. Gas mileage really isn't a huge factor either, as the wife will be driving it to work and back, and seeing as that's a 3 mile ride for her one way.. the gas mileage won't be a huge killer.
JL: it appears to be more of a performance thing, but chevy says the SS has a 6700lb towing capacity. it says up to 6300lbs on the 5 seater V6, and up to 7000lbs on the 7 seater vortec 5300 V8. the SS comes on the 5 seater chassis.
i would think that the LS2 would be able to pull more with more torque (330tq for the vortec 5300, 395tq for LS2). chevy does say that the truck will have a 4.10 rear end, but it also has a modified suspension, which i'd think is negativley impact towing capacity.
i dont think that 300lbs is really a big difference unless you plan on really maxxing it out. for me, i was really looking at it cuz you could get a V8 with the smaller chassis... i have little need for a 7 seater SUV, but your needs might be different depending on how many 'rugrats' you need to put in the back of it
