can you put it on the web, with you in it, and the state, so I can inform the local constabulary

damn I always thought they had speed governors... did you disable it?

Yes they can reach 100mph, down hill.

I rented a 15ft penske truck and had a Saab 9-3 that I was towing behind it.
I could cruise at 75 easily and if I was lucky to have a down hill it would do some scary speeds fully loaded.

Up hill forget about it!!
Good thing out in the midwest they have a left lane just for truckers going up hill so everyone can pass them. I had to use it also, cause fully loaded with a car on the trailer I was lucky to do 45mph up hill.

Every Ryder and Uhaul Ive ever rented was governed at 65MPH. The throttle just cuts off over that.

We bypassed the governer before and thoes things do fly, they easily do over 100.

The guy at penske when he was going over the details of the truck he said it won't go over 55mph fully loaded. But I never once did 55 it was always 70+ but damn up hills it would kill me to do 45mph.
I made it from Hudson MA to Portland Oregon in 4 days.

i gotta rent one of those soon... how do you bypass the governor? and what are your thought's on towing my firehawk on a u-haul trailer? penske told me that my car wont fit on theirs. i gotta go from boston to Ft. Worth, TX... so i'm not exactly thrilled about towing my car that far on a trailer. i'm pondering paying an auto transport company to move it if the price is right.

From my experience, Uhaul has the governors while Ryder does not. Something to think about
