Smoking Tires Kumho has just about to put a new tire on the market...............the Ecsta MX-C ....which they have added a chemical compound that at high tempetures will produce red or blue smoke...... however I heard the price was supposed to be around $1995 a tire

i believe BF Goodrich tried this a few years back with the 'scorcher T/A' tires... they were advertised for ricers and were 
needless to say, they dont sell them anymore.

I dunno if the scorcher tire acctually had different color smoke it was just a color on the tire.....i dunno i think it looks kinda cool.....but I'm w/ lilsteph I wouldnt spend that much to destory em
Here is a video of them in action, they are intended for "drifters" and as of early in the summer Kumho wasn't planning on selling them to the general public, just to people who compete in drifting events....

i read the article i believe in car and driver this month...the third picture was the one i saw.. yea 1995 per tire is just rediculous and if i spent that kinda money on a tire i wouldnt burn it up like that...what you guys figure 400 per burnout(of course for both tires 
) but then again if you have 1995 to spend per tire then i guess you wouldnt care about money? oh well nice lookin though
