Default Think I'm forced to put temp CAT on

I'm going to have to get the car inspected again, and don't have a hook up as I did when I lived in Maine. So I'm thinking I'll have some flanges welded in where the 3" off road piped currently resides and bolt in a catylitic converter. That way once I get my sticker, I can bolt the off road pipe right back on. Probably cost me $250 for the converter and welding, but atleast I'll be able to get a sticker on the car. Anyone else done something similar with their setup?-Fred

I thought about that, but the car is pretty darn loud even through the Flowmaster cat back. The cops up there are really cracking down on those hole in the wall inspection places that do half azz inspections. Maybe I'll send my dad down to one of those places & maybe they will go easy,lol.-Fred
