Default Stopped By lack of Tools.

Got all the Valvesprings on and put the pushrods in. Put the rockers on and found out I do not have a Socket for the Torque wrench or an adapter.

Sounds like your having fun. Same thing happened to me, I didn't have a 3/8 8mm socket and my 3/8-1/4 adapter was MIA. Hope you get it all buttoned up soon.

sears, true value, home depot. lol
for what its worth, pretty sure a 5/16th 6 point is the same as an 8mm

Now the Timming chain cover scares me. The instructions say something about needing a longer crank bolt?

You really should use a longer bolt to seat the pulley. If your really in a bind I can pop one in the mail tommrow and it should be there Wen. If you didn't know, don't tighten that cover down until the pulley is seated.

Also,don't tighten the longer bolt all the way in or you'll pop the crank plug.If a ASP underdrive pulley is being used you won't need the longer bolt. BUT make sure you tighten the crap out of the bolt.Atleast 250ft/lbs--I use my air gun on high for 20 seconds.
