car got broken into last night!!!

car got broken into last night!!! the 88 GTA got broken into last night... the cars have been here for just over a week 
why they decided to go for the GTA and not the Firehawk is beyond me... maybe they thought it would be less likley to have an alarm?
my roomate wakes me up at like 6am and informs me that the car got broken into... i'm like 'is it still there'?? it was... i go outside, and the driver's door is open and there is glass everywhere. there was also blood on the door and on the rear seat.
the alarm or something must have scared them away, cuz they didn't really get anything of value... they did steal the registration for some reason though... no idea why
i called the police, they filled out a report and sent the friggin crime scene investigators down... they dusted for fingerprints, but didn't find any, but they did take a blood sample.
today we got the motivation to clean the garage out, so i got the firehawk in the garage, and i negotiated with the neighbor (who is a friend of mine) to let me keep the GTA in his garage for now... man, this **** pisses me off!

They probably had one that was already stolen and needed the paperwork on a car that was up to date. Those little tags that have the vin on the dash are easily redone, don't ask me how I know that. Did they take your plate too? If so, then that is exactly what tey were after.. if the plate's still there, then I'm kinda at a loss.

A new crime that has been happening in NJ is that one day someone breaks into your car and takes the registration and insurance card. They take both of these to a dealer and order a set of keys for the card on the presumption that they lost their keys. Some dealers accept both of these as sufficient proof that you own the car. A couple of weeks later, the thief comes back for your car with a set of keys and drives away. You may want to consider changing you ignition cylinder to prevent this from happening.

plus the car is now in TX, and the reg was for MA... i'm sure that threw them for a loop. also, there are no plates on the car.
i should rig the car to release cyanide gas when started without disarming, so i can catch the ******* dead in the driver's seat. then i can **** on their corpses.
