Default Got tune started..Dyno sheet inside

Special thanks to East Side for taking the car and starting the tuning process. As you can see, , or perhaps not..I ran out of injector.... This dynorun was at about 7.5 lbs of boost, which the injectors couldnt really handle well.
We are going to upsize the injectors and up the boost to about 15, which should hopefully yeild another 200 HP. These turbos were designed for 15-18 lbs with this motor..thats their sweet spot. From there if we want more we'll need race gas and to intall the Gen 7, which is patiently waiting in a box. Frankly, If the car makes in the 750 rwhp range on pump, I'll keep it there.
Again, thanks East Side and you will soon have her back for the 2nd stage of tuning. Note the upper rpms , I need fuel.
Note: Each vertical line is 200 rpm., obviously TQ cross HP at 5250 for reference.

not bad for starting out, what injectors do ya got in there now. I say **** it keep it on pump gas.

did you log your run and see what your injector rate is and what your fuel pressure is?

They logged it Im sure...basically said these 42lbers had no chance, I removed the 72lbers to ditch the converter box...but will now try 60's. if I need more I'll put the 72's back in. Fuel Pressure is a bit low at 53lbs...but I found a sizeable injector leak when I got home too.

Do you have EFI live? I just tuned my car on the street with that. I'm running 19.5 degrees of timing now, no knock and have 90 degree max iat's. Car is running like a raped ape now.

The 60's will help until a certain point but it sounds like you need more fuel pump. Be careful man don't lean out!

I have no doubt you should be able to make 700 rear wheel or more on pump gas.

I don't think he's running out of pump, he's got a huge fuel system from Speed. I think he's running an Aeromotive Eliminator.

SAE Corrections on Forced Induction Motors

The car should go well once we get the larger injectors in and get the tune lined out. This test was just for getting over a bump. Once step at a time. Next step: POWA!

Thanks Nogo, again for helping. The 1st hurdle has been jumped.

GotMeSom, thanks for the input: My pump should be capable, its a stout system... though my filter is questionable now that I think about it. I dont have EFI Live, Gen7 in the box, but wanted to get there in steps. I imagine 60's will be decent to about 725ish, if and when the car can make that. It amazes me this simple rear mount system works the way it does. When I started this 12 months ago most had doubts. Had I only given the car more time and attention, this would have been April or May and I'd had run some numbers..the place where most rearmounts are not shining well. I do not beleive 600 hp from a rear mount makes it down the track like 600 hp from a nitrous or, God Willing a NA car, Im not kidding myself, but I think its got potential to pull a decent time.

How much timing you got at peak tq and redline? The numbers seem ok for 7.5 psi without the correction. GL man

It wasn't a smart remark in any way.Just the STD gives no sense of the power with a correction.Power can swing up to 100rw on STD.I just would love to see the progress

OSR, I dont care much about SAE or STD, I care about SOP. So I'm cool with it.
There was sizeable leak from the third injector back on the passenger side. We're switching them anyway, just won't get a chance to drive her. I droped it off with a leak (discussed with Alfred, but we thought it was a fitting) and I think it just got bigger. Should we consider just adding Gen 7 now, if so I have 72lbers already. Lastly, if we do go Gen 7, can we make it contol the tranny and will Speedo be piggybacked to work?
Thanks again for being great to work with.

Don, thanks, I think.

With all due respect, I disagree. I think they are better than OK. You dont know which way the correction was going , or how much it was, now we know it was around 12 hp. Timing was around 19 degrees as i remember, its very conservative at the moment. I think peak HP could be higher with more fuel base on the dfact that peak HP on the chart is lower in the RPM range than I would have expected. Heck, my little inefficient homemade rear mount system made almost as much HP as yours did with 5 less pounds of boost! And Im no where near my turbos efficiency Island at 7.5 lbs. Either way, thanks for the input...how do you like your kit? I was tempted at one point to get that kit.
