yup. as of Oct 1st ive known. they just released this information to the public as of yesterday and ive got a lot of people asking me questions. oh well at least ill get my combat patch and because ill be infantry ill get my CIB (combat infrantry badge) 2 patchs for the price of one plus close to 100k in my bank account when i get home, but the personal satisfaction of serving my country...priceless

i was going to say that, that it kinda sucks but i bet it gives you pride too serve you country and makes everyone that knows you proud. and it is something to look back on when you get older and know that you made a difference

congrats hun! i cant imagine that. id feel so lost so far.. i guess you get used to it though and its a BIG accomplishment...

my best buddy leaves friday for navy seals, im going to miss his ***

thanks ya'll. navy SEALS thats impressive, hope he makes it through alright. personal satisfaction and a sense of duty are the reasons i enlisted in the first place. already have done 2 deployments, both in country i think its time to take the next step. plus i cant let my men go without me being there out front where i belong, NCO's set the example and lead the way

yea from what he says navy seals is one of the tuffest things to go into. hes very dedicated to it thats for sure. He quit his job that he was making $20/hour at doing nothing so he can spend more time at the gym and running/swimming. pretty crazy. what are you in again?

CT Army National Guard E-5 sergeant 21B combat engineer soon to be 11B infantry. Navy Seals are one of the hardest groups in the militarty and only something like 30 percent make it through. sounds like an awesome guy and i hope only the best for him
