Default Just got back from NED, with a new best

My dad and I went to NED today to get our last runs of the year in. It was great, mid 60's dry and the track was sticky! Only thing that sucked was everyone there was breaking so the track was shut down half the time. A kid from boston had an '04 cts-v. His dad owns a caddy dealership, so he drove it down on a dealer plate. On his first pass, he wheel hopped and broke the rear end... Track shut down for over an hour

Any way, I went 12.3 at 115 5 times with 2-12.4's at 115 and a couple 12.5-12.6's once the track got slippery.

My dad managed a 12.0 at 121

It was alot of fun, we spent half the day waiting for them to clean up the track and talking to A guy named Brent with a red Vette built by slowhawk... But he broke too.... clutch after about 5-6 passes

Only thing that sucks is, I know this was my last time to the track this year

I ran right after him... we were just talking about it...lol He had just finished telling us he was on like his 5th clutch, and this spec 5 he had on for 3 months... The he made a pass, I ran right after him and he was sitting in the return lane... not looking super happy. He tried to drive it back, but it was gone... He let out the clutch in 1st gear and it just continued to idle...

awesome times tim i knew u had that low 12, u just needed a little better track to do it at. i beat if u had a tire on there u would have had high 11s without a problem. good to see ur dad finally got a good time, although with a tire that thing would be getting kicked out for not having a roll bar

It was fun, we'll both be back next year with some new tires... I think I finished mine off today The track was better than LVD but traction was still my handycap... with a little more seat time and a set of tires I think I can find an 11 sec slip. But besides the tires, I'm done with mods to this car, I'm not even doing a cam.... Hopefully I'll have a new toy to throw $$$$ at

Yes,he is funny as hell. I just answer his calls with "What did you break now" and he just laughs.

Well, since the car is here we will build up the whole driveline and possibly do the 8rib belt setup -add more boost
