Default Trouble?

the plan is for me to race my uncles camaro this weekend at NED. Now i want to put my buddies slicks on once i get to the track. will the track kick me out if they see me run with slicks and no driveshaft loop. Its completely stock, prolly only run a mid 13. i have a feeling its going to spin with the street tires on it. So should i get teched in then change them, or will they make a big deal out of it? i mean NED does suck when it comes to that stuff.

If it's a A4 stocker w/stock tune and no real mods, you'll get better times without the slicks bolted on the car....R-U talking about bolting my old 26-8.5x15 ET Drags on the Convo-Pro's on by any chance? They will slow you down...unless you maybe pump them up to about 30 psi. They dead hook the SOM car WITH the stall converter and all the suspension upgrades... WJ

When they ask, if you say yes they probrably won't look. If they do and don't see one just say it's not your car and you though that there was one. I think with a mostly stock car you can talk your way through it.

I only run a half a loop because I'm to lazy to drop the shaft. The one time they looked for it they never even noticed, but the girl wouldn't sign off on my car because of my exhaust set up so I just got another tech to do it.

i thought u only had to have a loop if u were running 12.99 or quicker...not sure what tech is like at NED ive only gone through LVD. only had one tech that actually knew anything about my car and he asked i told him i did and he didnt even look. i might find out what NED is like this weekend seeing as im sure LVD will be under water again...

Good luck...Hope you get a chance to run it. W/bogus weather that's been hitting us lately, season's coming to a close real fast in New England. WJ

Vehicles running full slicks are supposed to be equipped w/driveshaft loops at NED. I've been thru that issue many times up there... WJ
