Default not another Doh! day... Got my snake eye's

ya well this was my rookie year drag racing and after the first time out i was hooked!!! somehow i just wasnt satisfied with a 13.5 at 104... well i set a goal of a mid 12 for the season, and well i got it and soo much more i got a low 12s a few weeks ago at was supposed to be the SVT rental and well i set a new goal, i wanted my 11 second slip. well i got it today at the Pike Dragday event and life is good track really wasnt hooking that well because it was sooo damn cold and i almost lost it at the 1/8th mile in the right lane because they hadnt cleaned the track well enough from the car that had just broke there, but i still wanted that slip and i was knocking at the door and i wasnt about to back down. next run i tried the left lane. hooked decently with a 1.69 60' and got a 11.8 at 114.45, i knew i could get better so the last run i was going for it.this was gonna be my last run of the day, took the left lane again cut a slightly better 60' with a 1.65 and ran a 11.6 at 114.52. i might go back up on sunday if the weather stays the way its gonna be 50s and sunny and go for a sub 11.5. just want to thank ESP again for the awesome job they did on the car and to Gary for helping me sort out some issues at the track

Congrats man. My cherry was also popped this year drag racing . I to started at 13.5 @ 104. I added headers cold air intake and exhaust and now I'm at 12.7 as my best. I'm calling it quits for this season and opening up next season with a vig 3600 stall. Good for low 12's then.

Congrats again bro keep it up. You about where I want to be early next year

Congrats on the run! Huge improvement this year! It was mid summer when you were still trying to get your 12.99! So whats on the plate for next year? Are you going to even be around to enjoy it next summer?

Also, I can't believe your 10 bolt is still holding up, I didn't think it had much life left in it after seeing you run at LVD

10 bolt is holding beautifully no issues, tranny is holding up just as well. everything is working damn well, especially for a car with 65k miles on it. my goal next year is to get high 10s. yes i am gonna be around next year after all, its a long and angering story i could tell ya sometime if u want. depending on funds car is getting cam, assorted boltons, possibley built tranny and a 12 bolt. all depends on money. i am gonna run the stock tranny and rearend til they break. i should be getting a trailer by next season so thats not an issue. most likely doing a fuel pump so i can hit the bitch with a 150 shot. oh ya and a cage of course

i forgot about the 11 second club thing... humm
