Default NED sucks!

well yet again NED let everyone down. But this time there was no reason to. The sign they posted said: all races this weekend will be running 1/8mile do to weather conditions, which is understandable i mean, yesterday was crappy weather so ok. But today at 8 o clock the sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, it was 61 degrees, the DA was 300, and NED had 1 of there 4 track prep tractors on the track getting the track ready. at 8 o clock NED announced there will be 1/8mile racing. Alright the track was cold, okay but maybe if they acxtually tried to prep it and waited until 10 to call what they were running they would have realized that today was perhaps the most ideal conditions a drag racer could ever ask for. The temp. kept climbing as the day went on and there was not a single car that spun off the line. Its the last race of the year, we traveled an hour and 45 minutes to run 1/4 mile. spent $120 on fuel, and $35 to get in. We didnt even unload the car, when we went to leave early in the morning after we found out it was going to be 1/8 mile, they would not give us our $35 back. In this case track temp was not the problem. the problem was that NED realized there was going to be alot of cars today, 1/8 mile is faster, and smoother, not to mention it cuts there costs to prep the track. so thank you NED for a day wasted.

sorry to hear that guy, but ill tell ya what LVD sucked also. there was a **** load of cars there for t&t and a lot of points series racing also. i waited in the lanes for almost 2 hours to get one run. and after when i went back to get into the lanes they told me to go park the car and they would call t&t when they were ready. well then 2 cars collided on the track, both of the drivers walked away unhurt thank god, but they found water seeping through at the 1/8th mile marker. well the weather was high 30s low 40s maybe and they were only gonna run 1/8th mile. well after a few cars they found water in the right lane again, and well that was pretty much the end of the day. a lot of people lost money, but they did give us a rain check for next season at least.

atleast they gave u a rain check, yea LVD does suck when it comes to waiting in the lanes, but i still think its much better run than NED. i mean coming from CT the ride is much smoother and more enjoyable. NED is bumpy and there are 2 many stoplights. the only thing i really like at NED is the fact that action racing photos can print the photos on site, and there cheaper than jims. so what happened to those 2 cars?

i didnt see it happen but i guess the one in the right lane got loose and collided with the one in the left lane. thats what i was told anyway. i made one trip up to NED but got rained out and ya its a pain in the *** from CT. the only good thing i got out of today was beating a kicked out 1970 426 hemi Plymouth Road Runner. gourgous car runs in the FAST series.

new england does suck, but its only 45 min ride from my house. and the people that own it know that. its the only track around if you don't go someone else with a civic will, why do you think the import wars are taking more and more weekends away from us, because they don't have to prep the track good they usually all stock so most of the time they dont dripp our spuill on the track and it brings in more money than a rugular test and tune.

hemi 12.39 at 111, me 12.2 at 111. we were neck in neck the whole way down what got me the win was my shitty *** 60' my 1.80 to his 1.96. i spun like a bastard out of the hole but somehow mustered a 1.8. if i had gotten my usual 1.6 i would have gotten him by more. but a win is a win.

nothing is more annoying than a kid who has a civic that weighs 2600 lbs and thinks he has more motor than an american V8, or thinks american muscle cars are slow.

imagine if the owner of nh international speedway bought ned. maybe for once we'd get some real drag racing events here in the new england area.

Sorry, Jordan, but I'm going to have to say that you're talking like a 16 yr. old that doesn't know what the hell he's talking about... This is New England. It's November and the season is over. We've already had snow. It's hunting season in NH and all the homeboy NED track employees are out deer hunting. They're running out of VHT cause they purchase it all in a large quantity at the beginning of the season and have used it all. The track is cold, and the ground under it is loaded w/water from all the rain we've had. The top end of the track is SLIPPERY, Jordan--that's why they ran 1/8...Jeez... WJ

No, Jordan. It was posted up on Sat. night that they were going to run 1/8 on Sunday because of moisture and slipperiness on the top end of the track. Too bad you guys didn't see that--you should've pushed for your $ back if you didn't make a pass, unless they had it posted when you got your tech card.... Make the trip to Atco. Your Dad will get the #'s he's looking for there. I can almost guarantee it. Awsome conditions down there right now. WJ
