SLP, what a joke.

So, when I did the cam I deleted the air system. When I bought my SLP lid I threw out the air plug.

Called SLP for a new one. $2.99, not bad. Shipping $16? WTF. I don't want it that bad.

This thing is a 1" piece of plastic. You could send it in an envelope with 2 stamps. F*** SLP.

Thats usually how places make their prices seem so low, no one pays attention to shipping. I saw an auction on ebay that said buy it now .99 and shipping was $500

I bought lots of stuff from SLP years ago, and I was always really happy with them and their parts. But on my last T/A I had lots of problems with customer service & they f*#cked up every order, so I won't buy anything from them anymore.... I'd buy a whole new lid from MTI or someone else before I'd buy a $2 plug for an slp lid

Funny, they sent me the 2.99 plug and charged me 1.97 to ship it. I don't think you are talking to the right person.

I'd go to home depot or something , look for it there before I'd pay what they are suggesting..

I wanted to buy the frt piece of pipe off there modular system,and they said they would not part out pieces.It didnt matter that I had there product on my car,they got there money no customer service afterwards.

Yeah, they got fat off making the SS/Hawk for GM, and neglected their aftermarket development and customer service. Now they're way behind the competition.
