Well into the 11s today!!!!
Well into the 11s today!!!! I think my car is now leading the bolt on race for the 2005 season, eastern section.
We went to Atco today for a rental, and I was a bit dissapointed with the weather. I really thought November would be cooler!
Anyway, myself and the CARTEK jockey himself went down to see what my car was gonna do with mild weight reduction. Each of us got new bests in the car, and at the end of the day, I had the best 60ft (1.553), but Alex OWNED me on E.T. (11.702). He also ran new bests in 3 other cars, I believe...
Each launch it pulled a wheel! (Pics will be provided so any members doubting can see its not Alex behind the wheel). I wish we took pics inside the car, cause Alex let me borrow a lightweight seat, trying to help me out, but we didnt test it before we left. I wish we knew I wouldnt be able to reach the throttle to the floor! So I raced all day sitting on clothes, with stuff propped behind my back so I could reach!
Anyway, I will get to the numbers from the best pass so we can let the fun begin!

I was thinking about calling 
on this 11.70 you speak of in a stock internal 6 speed in the mediocre air down there yesterday but umm, I was actually there to see it with my own eyes so I guess yet another congrats is in order. 
Ok that's it I'm dropping out of this race, 
I just can't back up my 11 from last May to save my life!

I take that as a compliment. That means that CARTEK and CARTEK customers trust me with their cars to let me take it down the track, and know that I will be able to bring out the car’s full potential if at the time they can not.
Maybe if you had someone like me a few years ago, your Heads/Cam/Nitrous car would not have ran 11.1’s
