Don't be afraid to cut acouple more pounds out of each door, might as well pick up some Percy's Speed Glass for the side windows too. Could probrably swiss cheese a few pounds out of the top of the dash. And you can probrably lighten that Kirkey in the background another 5lbs.

I like the bus driver fan.

Doesn't someone make a LW fiberglass door? You could always look into that carbon fiber seat too that someone makes, looks like a kirkey, but is supposed to weigh like 2 lbs. If you do that driveline change that you had mentioned, I'm guessing that would drop some good weight too...

That should be easy, my LT1 was 3090 with a 235# driver. and you have ripped out alot more wiring than I have....
But you probably got a bar/cage that I dont have so you should be close!

jl, i am just going to leave them, i could only imagin what a set of doors would cost. lol

as for how much i drive on the street, last year maybe 500 miles. this year i would say half that. im probably going to take it off the road and save the mone. i have a dealer plate i can use any time i want.

is it street leagal? well, not sure id go that far, it was very close last year. id did pass inspection tho

im not building the car towards any class any more, i did it last year and it kind of screwed me. and for what, one race.
im going to build the car for me, race it for fun, and if the tech series makes it back up this way, i will run whatever class i fit in.

i didnt enjoy the $$$ races. i am more the type that goes out to beat my own goals and race at my own pace.
work is my stress, racing is my hobie, so for me to get stressed over racing is pointless. know what i mean
