lol. kens brother has a quad dyno at his shop!!!!!!

im guessing around 38-40 rwhp when its done. i was looking at other results, and the closest i could find was a 04 400
it was 27 rwhp stock, then they did just a muffler and it went to 32 rwhp, and they did a st 1 cam setup and it bumped it to 39 rwhp

i have the header and the st 2 cam kit wich should do id say 40 rwhp. the thing is pretty fast now.

Cams? Damn...And I thought you finally saw the light and were building a FORD mod motor! hahahahaha

Seriously though....what kind of gains do the cams do down low? I would think you would want low end power for the quad.

the low end isnt effected. from like 500 rpm to 1500 rpm, after that, they said it was huge. i dont think the quad sees any lower then 5,000 rpm the way we ride. lol

Thats cool. 1000 rpm to about 4000 is where I like it. I like doing more technical stuff than fast stuff. Everytime I get fast on a quad/bike, I end up hurting myself or breaking something. I'm too old for that ****!

We need to go riding sometime. You're not that far away, there are only 1 or 2 of my buddies that still have quads. Everyones always buying and selling. Ya gotta keep at least one..

Once my motor pops on the '04 450R, I'm going to step it up to the 525 kit.

These things are never too fast IMO. I actually got bored with mine, hasn't seen any riding other than wheelies for at least 4 months.

Where do you usually ride anyhow?

Want a fast ATV? try stuffing a gixxer 1100 motor in a quadzilla 500 chassis.... until you've had one of those, you haven't seen a fast ATV.

I need to find a good sand-pit. Anyone know of a good one.

I used to ride in Clinton MA all the time, that place was the best, huge sand pit surrounded by great trails, but like everyplace else in MA, its closed and enforced.

So where does everybody go riding?

There are legal trails right near my place in Sandown NH, but trails get boring for me, I like sand pits much better.

Down the cape. When I was in school we used to 4wheel the power lines. Probably not legal, but definitly not enforced. Exit 3 off rt 3 I think. We used to have some hard core redneck parties out there that invovled tire burnings, drunkeness and gun shooting!
