Ordered all types of new stuff!!! cams ect!!!
ordered some new cams, new aircleaner, new brake rotors, new pads. im going to be getting new tires soon also.
the cams are suposed to add up to 10 hp. we shall see. hoping to have it done for this weekend.
we are going to start tonight!!
its got all the nerf bars, push bars, bumpers, skid plates, douglas wheels, mud shark rear tires, header, pipe, now it will get the cams and rejetted.
should be fun.

im guessing around 38-40 rwhp when its done. i was looking at other results, and the closest i could find was a 04 400
it was 27 rwhp stock, then they did just a muffler and it went to 32 rwhp, and they did a st 1 cam setup and it bumped it to 39 rwhp
i have the header and the st 2 cam kit wich should do id say 40 rwhp.
the thing is pretty fast now.

Seriously though....what kind of gains do the cams do down low? I would think you would want low end power for the quad.

Once my motor pops on the '04 450R, I'm going to step it up to the 525 kit.
These things are never too fast IMO. I actually got bored with mine, hasn't seen any riding other than wheelies for at least 4 months.
Where do you usually ride anyhow?
I used to ride in Clinton MA all the time, that place was the best, huge sand pit surrounded by great trails, but like everyplace else in MA, its closed and enforced.
So where does everybody go riding?
There are legal trails right near my place in Sandown NH, but trails get boring for me, I like sand pits much better.
