Congrats on the new old car

Very sharp, who doesn't love old Camaro's anyways?

I've always wanted a 1st Gen project Camaro. The only difference is I'm still going to keep my current car.

I think blending new technology with older vehicles is awesome, it should be a fun project.

Thanks for confirming that you are a dyno queen that doesn't race , hell you probably never even used the spray.

Danno,
Thanks, I'm avoiding the project stigma as it's a nice car as it and will just have steady diet of improvements but won't have to sit in a body shop for 6 months.
Mods planed for this year - suspension upgrades, 4L60E install (is that ok with you ESP or will that "ruin" the car even before the LS-1 goes in?) and spray.
Next year - LS1

That car is nice. Do you mind if i ask how much you picked it up for??

My dad and i really want to get a 1st gen or early 2nd gen camaro (or nova, or chevelle for that matter) to put his engine in and restore. Its a 396 bored out alittle, out of a true 1970 SS chevelle. hes had it since he got rid of the chevelle which was over 20 years ago. From what he says its a beast (better cam, heads, and pistons). Just wish we could find a nice body at a decent price.

So why did you put it on if you're afraid to use it

You might as well stop typing as every word you type makes you look more and more like a jackass

What can I say? The Chevy truck was a lot nicer than the Ford. I'm looking forward to towing with 650ft/lbs of TQ

I hear with just a flash programmer you can add another 130TQ to it. Must..... Resist......

We took an '06 Duramax out for a ride and all I can say is holy hell. The truck is deffinatly fun and burns the tires up from a low roll stock. From what I was told they are suposed to get a 750ft/lbs (375hp) for '07. I wouldn't mind having a RCSB dually.

I have the Cobra and the Lightning now, in 8-10 weeks The Lightning will belong to the Chevy Dinner and I'll have a new 2500HD Silverado in my Driveway.

So I'll have the Cobra and the Truck.

Nope I sold my Limited and TTA. The stuff was just getting too old to race on a regular basis. Just isn't enough parts left for those things, they are getting to be too old.

Honestly since I bought my Cobra I haven't missed them at all.

The kind UPS man brought me a Christmas present today from NPD

A front spoiler, rear Z/28 emblem, new floor mats, some weather stripping and a new front license plate bracket.

The front spoiler really makes the car.
