Default Extreme makeover - Redneck edition

Here are some before and after pics after I've removed all the "Redneck" stuff so this is my own "Extreme makeover - Redneck edition" aka Uncle Marky style

First the body / nose of the car - added a front spoiler and real front license plate holder and removed the "2FAST4U" plate along with the ever popular snake eye plate holder that was wire tied in, the snake eyes lighted up when you turned on the headlights. Nothing but the finest speaker wire was used to power the lil snake eyes

Redneck

De-Rednecked

Interior - note the extensive use / love affair with the Flowmaster sticker

Redneck

De-Rednecked - Don't worry the cassete player will be removed and a CD player put in its place, the spirit just hasn't moved me yet.

Thanks to Andrew for hosting the pics for me

Marc

Engine - again the love affair continues with stickers (found over 30 of them that I removed and 17 were Flowmaster)

Thanks,
I'm in the Tri-City area myself

It's amazing what junk some people will put on a car and think it's cool.

Notice how the tasteful display of our two time defending SuperBowl Champion New England Patriots in key locations

Lookout Jacksonville here we come

Haha, I see them now, had to go back and look closer. Did you have the car this summer, I think i've seen it around. You might have seen mine as well, black 98 z28 vert, chrome zr1's, 5pt harnesses and roll cage, not hard to miss.

Marc,
We all know that your ripped of 30 stickers, but what you didn't say yet is that you already replaced all of them with APC stickers and added the coveted Type R sticker for the rear spoiler.

It's amazing what some people will do. Just because they send you 30 stickers with your new flowmaster muffler, doesn't mean you have to put all 30 on. I usually stick one on the garage refrig and throw the rest in a drawer in the tool box.

Nice looking car.

Don,
Where's the love

Vinny,
Thanks, actually I was looking to put a "AWD" sticker on it

Thanks guys,
It will look even better when I get some decent wheels and tires on it along with putting an LSX engine in it.

Must have lost my touch with starting a carburated car as it doesn't like cold weather....

Marc, thanks for doing that car a favor.....looks like those "R" stickers added a little bit of rice to the redneck as well Unreal.

I'll give you a call a little later today.

Jason,
Those were genuine "RX Racing" stickers on the front windshield (there was also one I scraped off the rear windshield).

The match the RX floormats.....

Dave,
At one point in time there was some interior work done as a new headliner was put in and the fronts of the seats as well as the top of the center console was covered in some fabric. They will do for now but eventually the seats will be replaced and the center console as well as the dash will be replaced but first things first, got to make it go respectable

Mr. B,
Those headers will go to the trash as I'm back on my LSX kick.

Hey Marc why don't you hold off the wheel and tire combo.

I think I'm going to swap the 33s on my pick up for some 35s. You know the car is begging for some 33s, I'll give you a killer deal on the whole set up. I'll throw in my little 4.8 too. With those and acouple of "Tuff Country" stickers it'll be the baddest Camaro in NH.

Actually I always thought an 80 Z/28 w/ T-tops would make a cool platform to convert into a 4X4 but not a 73, maybe it will sound better after a few more beers

BTW: Let me know if you happen to come across some 6.0s cheap. The 4.8 started knocking pretty good this week, it didn't want to start this afternoon. I think I'm loosing a bearing. Have to wait for the oil analysis to come back.
