Wink Never enough fuel pump

We just can't give up how quiet the Weldon A600 is.The car made it to 800rwhp with 1 pump then ran out of flow so we are adding this other one that will run on a boost switch and a manual switch.Should be enough now to hit 4 digit's

Of course this is PurEvl's car

Actually it was way too easy. Only 14lbs of boost and low timing.I'm expecting it will be 800-900rwhp on pump gas -street,then we will run straight C16 and push it till I had enough.Probly 20-24lbs of boost.
We will only run 75lb injectors since we want the street manners good.It did the 800hp on 60lb injectors.

That is serious... 1000 HP LOL. There's a guy down this way that's aiming for a # like that, he was at 760 last year with a 346 motor, he's still on a 346, just changing a bunch of stuff, not really sure what.

I am curious, who makes a high imp. 75 lb injector? Or are you running aftermarket computer, allowing the use of low imp. injectors?

We've already made 770rwhp on pump gas with a Supercharged 346,so hitting the higher #'s would be real easy with a Turbo.

All we got to do is put a Cat on Mikes car and it would pass roller Emmissions, thats how tame the setup is

I don't doubt it at all. This kid never went the supercharged route... we went strait turbo. Went from a tti kit, to a home grown one wth tti hot parts, now he's on a full custom setup, I don't know what it was that he was changing, but I know he was aiming to be able to run 30 psi with it, and was hoping for 1300 fwhp. His car sitting there idling was quieter then mine by alot, it's nothing that's really insane. Steph probably knows who I'm talking about.. he's aorund the pike during the summer.... there was a video of him racing a 560 rwhp cobra last year floating around, I'm sure everyone and their brother saw that. Hell, 770 is enough so that traction is pretty non existant, 1000, that's pretty much bragging rights, never really be able to use all of it, at least not on any road I've been on LOL.

Regardless...1000 rwhp is 1000 rwhp, and it has a few special qualities:

1. It will never hook up anywhere on the street until you are going about 80

2. It is so cool to say you have it!

3. It requires a stiff maintenance schedule, unfortunately motor teardown on a semi regular basis is probably a really good idea.

4. It costs a butload of money..... no matter how you do it.

All that aside... congrats on that car, the thing has got to be a blast to drive, esp. knowing that when you have it turned down to about 1/2 it's potential, it will still stomp heads all day long. What is the goal on pump gas for power anyway? I assume that you are gonna actually reach the threshold where pump gas, no matter how much you add just won't be capable of doing the job.

1. It loses traction at 80 now with only 700ish..
2. We have already got it to dead hook second an pull a wheel, it will hook with 1000...just not well Its actually getting a mini tub so its not useless
3. I will bet you money we will never crack this motor again other then to do head gasket changes. If you knew the internals an how much it cost me to get it this way you would understand. I wont have to freshen this block(by choice) until 2008, unless you just jinxed me an it blows up idling at light
4. you had to remind me ...im broke

The car yout talking about is on video racing a 400hp accord correct?

cool, mini tubs on a street car! Most guys won't go that far unless tehy are going for full race setup. What tire you gonna go with, max you can fit I assume. Wil look totally badass when it's done, and have the ***** to boot. Must be nice to know that at 1/2 power, you have enuoght o crush 99% of all to be found LOL.

I hear ya on the broke thing.. I'm gonna go way over budget this year, I know it's pennies compared to what you have spent I'm sure, but the th400 swap, shocks, tq arm and loop swap, brakes, tires and all the little **** is adding up fast this year. I try to budget every year a "round" of mods.. this year's round got alot bigger then I had originally planned... worst part is after a couple full passes, I'll be all done until the cage round comes up.

I hope one of tese days I'll get to see this thing in action... if you get it to LVD anytime, I'd love to see what it can do. You and the turbo car from down this way should have a go at it, he's still a 6 speed as well, so it would be intresting to watch.

I know... but I can't imagine that he won't at least run it once to see what it runs.... more what mph he can hit with it rather then et, as I already am aware that it will not be a superstar in that department. The kid out this way that's doing similar stuff, his car is all street too.. ehnce why the 2 of them running would be fun to watch.
