Let me tell ya... FELT AWESOME!

Awesome! Just Awesome! And this is the first time out with the car....

And hey... Look at how straight the car left... Those Cartek guys must know how to setup the suspension too!

In my book, Cartek is the best!

Very impressive, even more so that it was done with a 6-speed. That is truly a street car that's quick as ****, as opposed to a race car that is pretty quick.

Nicely done.

What's removed to get the car to that weight? I need to put my car on a diet..... not sure exactly how much I need to pull out, just know it's heavy.

Awesome runs man... car looks killer. a setting stiffer on the front and rear shocks might get you some more after watching the car leave, still ran really well!

That is the best part, I can drive it down the highway in 6th and not turn high RPM's, take the tops off and cruise to the shore in the summer blasting the statio. LOL

I cant believe how far car technology has come, I'm a young kid, but just in the few years I have been on the sceen, cars have gone from running 10.9's and being trailored to people driving 9 second cars to and from the track!

CARTEK has realy done their homework on this set up. It took them a few months to figure out the right port profile and volume, to work right with the cam they wanted, and the gearing. It all seems to be meshing just right!

Car feels so awsome, I almost dont wanna **** with it, but there are still a few more finishing touches like an Electric Water Pump and such. Should give me some more umph, then off to a rental day!

Thanks for the props everyone, but the credit should go to Julio, Dave, Mike, Roy, and Rich!!!

I have the typical, poor man's weight reduction LOL. Interior and seats, front bumper support, I have a BMR K-member now too. Sway bar is out too of cource.

Still have stock breaks, still have heater box and sterio/speakers, still have the airbags and stock steering wheel, still have the door bars and back bumper support. And I dont have $ to get light parts like Strange Breaks and an aluminium 9" like the other guys are going with. I still have a Posi not a spool too.

I can stiffen up the front shocks, they are already almost fully stiff... almost I know I am wasting a lot og energy going up and not forward. But Im a dumb kid who always wanted to be a fiter-pilot, and even though I have a pilots lisence, I like seeing the sky in my car! LOL :rotfl:

As far as the rear shocks, that will be harder to set them stiff... they are STOCK! with stock springs!

How awesome would it be to pull a 1.38 60' on stock rear shocks! I can't wait! I realy hope it happens!

Jesus... you are on budget mods with the car. I have to get weight out of mine this year, and see what it does.. I think I'm making enough power to get down the track at a good clip, and with the TH400 that's going on the first week of april, there' s no more driver error going on either. All you guys are getting me really pumped up to go to the track this year, I've made a ton of changes sonce last year and am looking to see the fruits of my hard earned $ I spent all winter long, and the work I've done.

I agree.. the technology is amazing.. especially how fast it's changing, too.

The beauty is, as you said, being able to drive to and fro- and then presto/chango.. slicks go on and 129mph trap speeds.

Yes.. this is Mr. B saying Cartek put a great package out.. my meds are working.

I would really love to see a FRIENDLY track rental with the goal of King of the Hill of LSx cars. Sort of a local Thunder shootout.
